Captain Ordinary became an officer by putting Captain in front of Oridinary. He represents the true super heros of our time, those who do ordinary things, day in and day out. His super powers include, but are not limited to: washing dishes, laundry (including folding and putting away), preparing and serving food, taking out the garbage after separting the recycling, changing diapers (though this skill isn't used much anymore), identifying stress and countering it with love and understanding, instigating acts of random kindness and beauty, and algebra tutoring. Mostly though, Captain Obvious writes, collects, and sings songs. His performances range from background ambiance for diners and shoppers to captivating attention with stories and songs. He has busked at the Oregon Country Fair more than once, and is hoping to do so again, officially.
